Our beers are all brewed using the 4 basic ingredients that constitute the German Purity Law: water; malt; yeast; and hops.

Regular Collection:
 

Brickyard Red Ale

This style of beer is classified as an American Red Ale. The focus is on the malts used during the brewing process. Our version of this beer uses malt and hops imported from England. The aroma is as mildly sweet as the taste.

31 IBU / 6.0 ABV

 

Chemung Canal Towpath Ale

This style of beer is classified in the "Cream Ale" category. The focus is on the malts used during the brewing process. Our version of this beer uses malts imported from Germany. The taste is extremely mild, sweet and refreshing.

11 IBU / 6.5 ABV

Pale Expedition Ale

This style of beer is classified as an American Pale Ale or APA. The focus is on the hops used during the brewing process. It has a floral aroma and the taste is "hops-infused" with firm bitterness.

39 IBU / 6.4 ABV

Newtown Brown Ale

This style of beer is classified as an American Brown Ale. The focus is on the malts and hops used during the brewing process. Our version comprises a complex mix of malts and is moderately hopped. The aroma is as sweetly malty as is the taste with a surprise hoppy ever after.

Hot-Jala-Heim

Hot-Jala-Heim

This style of beer is classified in the "Fruit/Vegetable" category as a "Chili beer". The focus is obviously on the chili peppers used during the brewing process. Our version uses a mix of hot peppers, including jalapenos and anaheims (hence the name...Hot-Jala-Heim). It has a delightful 'peppery' aroma as well as taste with a 'mild' sensation of heat experienced after swallowing.

This is a "beer with bite"...guaranteed to WARM you up on COLD WINTER days.

10 IBU / 6.5 ABV

Pumpkin Ale

7 IBU / 6.6 ABV

Pumpkin Ale has sadly slipped out of season. It will be back next September.

 

Rye P.A.

This style of beer is classified as an American Pale Ale or APA. The focus is obviously on the hops and grain used during the brewing process. Our version uses a considerable amount of rye grain and a considerable amount of hops. The color is rich, the taste is flavorful with very firm bitterness.

57 IBU / 6.0 ABV

Available in bombers for a very limited time.

   
 

Sullivan's Stout

This style of beer is classified as an American Stout. The focus is on the roasted malts used during the brewing process. Our version uses several of these dark and flavorful malts, thus the color is dark and dense and the taste is robust and hearty.

Summer Collection:

Iroquois Wheat Beer

This style of beer is classified as an American Wheat Ale, not to be confused with the German unfiltered version - Hefe Weizen. The focus is on the wheat used during the brewing process. Our version is filtered and slightly "off the beaten path" with a dry "hoppy" finish.

18 IBU / 6.4 ABV

This beer just like summer - passed way too fast - look for it's return next season.

Lackawanna Steam Lager

This style of beer is classified in the "California Common" category. The focus is on the special lager yeast brewed at a warmer ale temperature, thus creating a medium bodied malty beer with an assertive hop presence. Our version of this beer honors the Lackawanna Railroad which put our Chemung Canal out of business. This beer is also perfect for the hot and humid days of summer.

26 IBU / 6.1 ABV

This beer just like summer - passed way too fast - look for it's return next season.

Peach Wheat Beer

This style of beer is classified in the "Fruit Beer" category. The focus is obviously on the fruit used in the brewing process. The aroma is over-whelming of "fresh picked peaches", but the taste is only lightly-laced with peaches.

Horseheads IPA

This style of beer is classified in the "American India Pale Ale" category. The focus is obviously on the hops used during the brewing process. Our version has a citrus/fruity aroma with a big citrus taste and bitter hop finish.

93 IBU / 8.1 ABV

 

Christmas Ale

This style of beer is classified in the "Belgian" category. The focus is obviously on the yeast used during the brewing process. Our version has a fruity aroma with a sweet and spicy taste.

22 IBU / 6.6 ABV

This beer ... is still available ... but for a very limited time !

Chocolate Porter

This style of beer is classified in the "American Porter" category. The focus is obviously on the very dark roasted malts used in the brewing process to impart a "chocolaty flavor". Our version includes the addition of cocoa powder to intensify the taste of chocolate. This is our Valentine's Special.

21 IBU / 5.8 ABV

This beer will be back next February.

Maple Amber Ale

This style of beer is classified in the "Fruit Beer" category. The focus is obviously on the Maple Syrup used in the brewing process. Our version uses 100% pure Maple Syrup in ample quantity, thus imparting a dark rich amber color and high alcohol content.

21 IBU / 7.0 ABV

This beer will be available again in April.
