Canal Towpath Ale

process. Our version of this beer uses malts imported from
Germany. The taste is extremely mild, sweet
and refreshing.

beer will be added to our regular collection at the end
of summer and the Iroquois Wheat will be add to our retired

Lackawanna
Steam Lager
This
style of beer is classified in the "California Common"
category. The focus is on the special lager yeast brewed
at a warmer ale temperature, thus creating a medium bodied
malty beer with an assertive hop presence. Our version of
this beer honors the Lackawanna Railroad which put our Chemung
Canal out of business. This beer is also perfect for the
hot and humid days of summer.

Sullivan's
Stout
This
style of beer is classified as an American Stout. The focus
is on the roasted malts used during the brewing process.
Our version uses several of these dark and flavorful malts,
thus the color is dark and dense and the taste is robust
and hearty.
General
Sullivan has been laid to rest for the summer, but will
be resurrected in the fall. |

Hot-Jala-Heim
This
style of beer is classified in the "Fruit/Vegetable"
category as a "Chili beer". The focus is obviously
on the chili peppers used during the brewing process. Our
version uses a mix of hot peppers, including jalapenos and
anaheims (hence the name...Hot-Jala-Heim). It has a delightful
'peppery' aroma as well as taste with a 'mild' sensation
of heat experienced after swallowing.
This
is a "beer with bite"...guaranteed to WARM you
up on COLD WINTER days.
This
is our January special, our "winter warmer" ...
It's popularity has brought it back for a brief debut this
summer, available by the bottle now and by growler soon

Chocolate
Porter
This
style of beer is classified in the "American Porter"
category. The focus is obviously on the very dark roasted
malts used in the brewing process to impart a "chocolaty
flavor". Our version includes the addition of cocoa
powder to intensify the taste of chocolate. This is our
Valentine's Special.
This
beer will be back on tap for next Valentine's Day. |

Maple
Amber Ale
This
style of beer is classified in the "Fruit Beer"
category. The focus is obviously on the Maple Syrup used
in the brewing process. Our version uses 100% pure Maple
Syrup in ample quantity, thus imparting a dark rich amber
color and very high alcohol content...our highest yet at
7.0% ABV.
This
beer...just like April...has come and gone. It may return
