Beer-B-Que Sauce

1 cup “Aventinus” ( G.Schneider & Sohn’s Wheat-Doppelbock Ale from Germany)   2 Tbsp. ketchup
1 tsp. dried onion flakes   1 Tbsp. Balsamic vinegar
1 tsp. minced garlic   1 Tbsp. brown sugar
1 Tbsp. Frank’s RedHot Sauce   ¾ tsp salt

Mix all of the above ingredients in a mixing bowl.

Place chicken pieces (3 legs with thigh meat - skin removed) in a Ziploc bag and pour Beer-B-Que Sauce over chicken. Seal up the bag and place in refrigerator for at least 1 hour – overnight is even better.

Make an aluminum foil “boat” and place on grill. Place chicken in boat and pour sauce over chicken. Grill on medium heat until chicken is done, turning the chicken over at least once while cooking. The liquid will boil down to a thick sauce that can be spooned over the chicken before serving.
